The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC), through various mediums, 'serves as the focal point for data buoy and associated automated meteorological monitoring system technology of the United States.' Their web pages contain the same data they provide to forecasters and meteorological/environmental researchers. Data on the server is updated continously, and the volume of information available here is extremely large. Dozens of links to other government-run environment, oceanography and meteorology-related sites are also available.
